YOU KNOW YOUR EQUIPMENT.
WE KNOW HOW TO MAKE IT LAST.

OUR STORY

We’ve been doing this for decades.

For 24 years, ALERT’s skilled team has provided test and repair of complex electronics assemblies for military maritime and commercial products. We have earned a reputation for fixing almost any part or system; in instances where we cannot repair, we design a solution in-house, or provide a form, fit, and function replacement based on current technologies.

1996

WR Systems, Ltd. (WR) launches its Engineering Services Division (ESD) in Norfolk, VA, including the Module, Test, and Repair (MTR) Group. Located on-site at Little Creek Naval Base, MTR performs field changes and installations for Navy customers.

1998

MTR broadens its capabilities and relocates to WR’s Norfolk Operations Centers.

2002

MTR expands support services to include military maritime, and commercial products.

2005

Growth continues as MTR starts providing troubleshooting services at multiple customer sites.

2016

MTR Group title changes to ERT/2M (Electronics Repair and Test/Micro-Miniature) to better reflect WR’s broader customer base.

2017

WR opens the AET Laboratory and launches the ALERT division at our Norfolk campus, collocating engineers and technicians to ensure efficiencies in design, troubleshooting, repair, modification, fabrication, and testing.
